Our story
ClaimFly was founded in [TBD โ year] by Leon Morris, an Irish entrepreneur who'd been on the wrong end of one too many delayed flights. After running the numbers on what existing claim-management firms charge โ typically 25%โ50% of the recovered compensation โ it was obvious there was room to do this better, cheaper, and more transparently.
What we do
We file your EU Regulation 261/2004 claim against the airline, handle the back-and-forth, escalate to the national regulator if needed, and pay you out as soon as the airline settles. You give us 30 seconds of flight details. We do the rest.
Why we charge less
Our standard commission is 20% inclusive of VAT โ the lowest of any major EU261 service. We can charge less because we run lean: a modern tech stack, no aggressive paid marketing, and a single-purpose product. We pass that saving back to the passenger.
What we believe
- The law is on your side. EU261 is one of the strongest consumer protections in Europe. Most people don't claim only because the process feels too tedious.
- You should keep most of what you're owed. A flat 20% โ not 33%, not 50% โ is enough to run a sustainable business and put the rest back where it belongs.
- No surprises. No upfront fee. No fee if we don't win. No hidden "legal escalation" rate bump.
